We are currently seeking a Demi Chef De Partie to join our talented team of chefs at the Hilton Dublin Kilmainham on a part-time minimum 32 weekly hours contract.
Main duties:
1. Assist in preparation of mise-en-place for all menus
2. Manage the starter, garnish section during service
3. Prepare, cook and present food consistently to hotel standards, including staff meals, as instructed by Senior Chefs
4. Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe and tidy at all times in compliance with the hotel's and industry hygiene standards
The ideal candidate will:
1. Have previous experience as a Commis Chef in a 4* or 3* hotel
2. Have previous experience in a busy kitchen (not a requirement)
3. Strong communication and organisational skills are a must as this is a busy, dynamic role
4. Be flexible to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings and on occasion early mornings
5. Be legally entitled to work full-time in Ireland
6. Previous pastry experience would be an advantage
