Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack (Dublin, CA)

We are growing our team and looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack.
Working closely with our Chief Architect, responsibilities will include:
1. Develop high-performing, scalable, and available backend infrastructure.
2. Contribute to and continually improve our site architecture, feature components, development process, and SDLC tools, and system design.
3. Translate product requirements and technical designs into well-engineered, low-defect, robust code.
4. Research new technologies or methodologies that can improve the architecture, user experience, or development process.
5. Participate in code reviews, listening to feedback while sharing your knowledge with other members of the team.
6. Collaborate with product, sales, customer-support, and other departments to implement new growth initiatives.
7. Identify performance bottlenecks while proposing and implementing effective solutions.
8. Participate in architectural and software development activities.
9. Manage complex releases and code management.
10. Conduct software analysis, testing, programming, and debugging.
11. Utilize static code analysis tools to implement web best practices and standards.
12. Mentor team members to debug and assist in resolving technical spikes.
13. Work with offshore teams and guide them on product development.
Education and Experience:
1. BS/BA in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.
2. 8 years of relevant experience designing and implementing Java applications across various phases.
3. Experience building backend services and distributed systems.
4. Experience building microservices using Spring Framework.
5. Experience with Java libraries supporting reactive programming, Redis API, AWS SDK, Localstack is a plus.
6. Solid experience in working with AWS Cloud Environment, including services like ECS, Load Balancers, Fargate, S3, IAM Roles, Aurora RDS, Dynamo DB, Lambda, Glue, etc.
7. Understanding of Terraform for IAC is a plus.
8. Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical applications.
9. Ability to collaborate across multiple teams, on and offshore, and be willing to roll up your sleeves and execute!
10. Exposure to containerization with tools like Docker and Kubernetes is required.
11. Experience with APIs (REST).
12. Understanding of client-side JavaScript frameworks.
13. Knowledge of Agile development practices.
Base Salary:
The Annual Base salary for this position will be between $190,000.00 - $200,000.00 based upon experience.
