Ireland’s largest agricultural publication is hiring an account assistant for their office based in Dublin 12.
This position is for an 11-month fixed term contract with view for extension/permanency. The role offers a competitive salary, strong benefits package, hybrid working and onsite parking.
Responsibilities:
Sales/ Receivables Ledger
1. Posting and allocation of receipts to ledger, preparing lodgements for bank.
2. Issue invoices as required.
3. Debtor account reconciliations.
4. Liaise with Credit Control and Commercial Sales Staff.
5. Month-end processing statement-run.
Purchases/ Supplier Ledger
1. Maintain purchases ledger in INTACT Accounts System and TRAX Supplier Invoice Processing system. Ensure all details are up to date and correct.
2. Create new supplier accounts.
3. Create new supplier invoice templates in TRAX.
4. Process invoices via TRAX into INTACT ensuring all of the required details are correct.
5. Oversee operation of TRAX with users.
6. Ensure all invoices are processed as part of monthly processing.
7. Run required reports.
8. Reconcile supplier ledger accounts to statements.
9. Operate monthly payment-run.
10. Oversee smooth operation of the Expenses App and processing of expenses.
Experience/Skills Required:
1. 4 years previous experience in a similar account’s role.
2. Computer literacy: Excel, IT Accounts Systems, Outlook.
3. Experience of call-handling and dealing with customer queries.
4. Honesty, Attention to detail, Ability to work to strict deadlines.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
