Position summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented National Account Manager to join our Nestlé Confectionery team based at our Dublin offices in Ireland. The scope of this role involves driving sales through developing and executing joint business plans with customers. This role will allow us to deliver profitable market share winning plans. This role will report directly into the Channel Controller.
We have incredibly ambitious targets to drive growth and increase the visibility across our market, so we are looking for a candidate with previous strong category and commercial background who can work with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver excellence in this space with a selection of our world-famous brands.
A day in the life of a National Account Manager…
Ultimately, you’ll help us to execute the sales strategy internally & externally with customers across the Confectionery business. Working closely with a range of stakeholders to develop and accelerate our brand ambitions that delivers the very best results. You will:
1. Be accountable and manage the customer P&L, including Revenue, Spend, Market Share and Profit targets. This will involve full ROI analysis of all customer initiatives i.e., promotions to ensure trade spend budget is spent in most effective way possible.
2. Clear reporting of monthly review of volumes, plans, NPS and TA's and commercial reviews.
3. Execute plans for assigned Account(s) that are aligned with business objectives and customer strategies.
4. Facilitate excellence in execution in the daily business by planning, communicating, anticipating, measuring results consistently and implementing corrective action or learning.
5. Adhere to all Company principles and policies including Nestlé trade policy, local Sales policy, local trade terms, safety, and legal regulations.

As the successful candidate, you’ll have a breadth of fantastic sales experience with a strong commercial background under your belt.
You’ll already have experience of working in a similar role within a matrix organisation. You’ll be passionate, results focused and enjoy working in an exciting environment. You’ll thrive when working with stakeholders across all levels coupled with your ability to truly understand our business from a commercial standpoint. You’ll have fantastic communication skills and understand how your decisions impact our business strategy. You’ll love working in an environment that isn’t always black and white, being able to navigate yourself and stakeholders to positive solutions. Other key skills include:
1. The ability to demonstrate great presentation skills, targeting a wide audience through a storytelling approach.
2. Experience of managing trade spend budget.
3. Demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking with a tenacity to drive forward change.
4. Forecasting experience is desirable.
5. Passion to work for FMCG industry.
