Role Overview
We're looking for a passionate Digital Product Lead to join our team and help us launch, manage, and grow our digital services.
In this role, you'll be accountable for developing a team of Agile Product Professionals who will champion the customer and ensure all new product developments and initiatives improve our digital customer experience while achieving our business objectives.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with a strong business sense, strategic thinking, and proven leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Vision and Strategy
o Contribute to the development of Business Strategy.
o Develop a backlog of critical initiatives to help deliver against the business strategy.
o Establish a Strategic Product Framework that supports the delivery of that Business Strategy.
o Gather collaboration agreements to ensure the Strategic Product Framework is embedded within the organisation.
* Prioritisation of Strategic Backlog
o Help establish the right product management processes.
o Lead a team of Product Professionals (circa 7 people).
o Develop the individuals on the team.
o Remove impediments the team members face.
o Set clear expectations and agree on specific, measurable, and outcome-based goals.
* Processes
o Work with the Squad Scrum Master to mature our Agile process in line with the Product Management Framework.
o Establish processes for MVP identification, incremental value driven delivery, and measuring success.
o Work with business leaders from across RSA to understand their needs and drivers.
o Continuously improve collaboration across multiple functions within RSA.
* Market
o Supervise the Irish Insurance landscape to understand market trends enabling the development of unique product propositions for our customers.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a product role.
* Qualifications in marketing, project management, web development, or behaviour science preferred.
* 3+ years of experience working within Agile frameworks and with Agile teams.
* Ability to lead cross-functional collaborators to deliver on key initiatives.
* Ability to act as a mentor and coach to other Product Owners and Business Analysts on the team.
* Evidence of leading a digital project from initial concept through to launch.
* Good understanding of digital technology and its evolution.
* Analytical thinker comfortable making data-driven decisions.
* Experience in a financial services company an advantage but not essential.
* Proficient in all MS suite of tools.
