Deputy General Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for actively participating in departmental duties, promoting a positive work ethic and encouraging team involvement, initiative, and continuous improvement through a hands-on approach.
* Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all hotel departments
* Work closely with managers and their teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
* Surpass guest expectations at every turn
* Maintain a professional working relationship with fellow managers and teams
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of food and beverage, coffee, wine, and cocktails. Experience in front office operations is a plus, as well as proven exemplary guest service and sales skills.
* A degree or diploma in Hotel or Hospitality Management is preferred but not essential
* Minimum 1-2 years of restaurant experience is advantageous
* Familiarity with Hotsoft and Point of Sale systems
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
