Sector Expertise

The Role
Energy Engineer – REF: 2508
This role involves joining our established Energy, Utilities, and Renewables design team with senior support. As your career progresses, you'll acquire a broad range of skills and experience, working across different areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Management of distributed electricity power generation plants
* Management of combined heat and power (CHP) plants
* Implementation and compliance with environmental, health, and safety programs
* Preparation and implementation of planned operations and maintenance schedules
* Operations performance monitoring, fault finding analysis, and reporting
* Design and implementation of process and energy improvement projects
* Contractor management
* Attending client and OEM meetings
Location
The location for this role will be our Dublin office.
About You
The ideal candidate should have:
* An Engineering degree (Hons Bachelor degree or higher) in Electrical, Energy, or a similar relevant discipline
* At least 1+ year post-graduate experience
* Experience in power generation, boilers, rotating equipment, or PLC/SCADA systems would be advantageous
* Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Good academic record
* A full clean driving license and own transport required
* Fluent written and spoken English is essential
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
