**Assistant Manager, Cork**
This business is part of a product and tech-focused company operating multiple brands online and in retail. You will be part of the retail operations team, managing a small team at the ground level in a fast-paced and exciting environment with the experience, security and leadership of an established business that has been in operation for decades.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Retail Manager to oversee and ensure the smooth running of the outlet.
* Delivering 5-Star excellence in customer service.
* Dealing with all customer queries efficiently, professionally, and consistently with company policy.
* Promoting good communication between employees and management.
* Recruiting, developing, leading, motivating, and retaining your team.
* Engaging with new initiatives and embracing new ways of working.
* Driving operational standards throughout the company.
* Completing club procedures and administration and ensuring compliance with policies and practices.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience as an Assistant Manager in retail or hospitality.
* Strong planning and organisational skills, ability to plan and prioritise work schedule and work within agreed timescales.
* Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing.
* IT proficiency, with experience of working with Microsoft Word, Excel and the aptitude to learn in-house systems.
* Ability to influence wider business stakeholders.
* Experience in delivering coaching/training in the moment to ensure that customers have a great experience.
* Ability to deal with tough situations in a calm and professional manner.
