International Tax - Senior Manager| Private Clients | Top 10 Firm
Our client is a leading professional services firm in Ireland with ambitious growth plans with offices in Dublin, Galway and Limerick.
The Position
We wish to appoint a Senior Tax Manager to work in our International Tax team. Working closely with partners and senior management, the candidate will have the opportunity to work with a large portfolio of global blue-chip clients. This position will suit a team player who is ambitious to gain experience in the provision of practical and innovative tax-based business solutions, on a range of advisory and compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities
1. Working with the management team in maintaining and developing the firm’s relationship with a portfolio of clients including co-ordination of service offerings from other departments
2. Working with the Partners and the management team on advising clients on potential structures suitable for their business, transfer pricing and profit repatriations
3. Involvement in business development and marketing initiatives at firm, department and team levels
4. Acting as a key member of an integrated client service team working on a wide range of assignments including tax advisory projects
5. Ensuring that the payment and return filing deadlines are met for a portfolio of Corporate tax clients
6. Contributing towards collective (departmental) targets for billing, net fee income and cash collection as well as personal and firm-wide goals
Ideal candidate
7. AITI qualified and/or a qualified accountant with 3/4 years post qualification experience, preferably from a top 10 firm
8. Currently working as a Manager in a practice environment.
9. In-depth knowledge and hands on experience in interpreting Irish Tax legislation, relevant commentary and case law
10. Experience of working with International clients in providing innovative tax solutions
11. Experience of operational supervision of assignments and managing of client relationships
12. Fluent English with excellent oral and written communication skills
13. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a team environment
14. Excellent organisational and planning capabilities
