OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:
* Hands-On Management: Oversee and manage the infrastructure, including network and server systems, with a strong focus on cybersecurity. Lead and enhance design and operations from both technical and process perspectives.
* Project Leadership: Develop project proposals, manage implementations, and control budgets for global infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives. Collaborate effectively with international colleagues and vendors.
* Strengthen Cybersecurity: Identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and continuously monitor systems to ensure the highest level of protection against threats.
* Operational Excellence: Optimize system performance, ensure reliable service delivery, and implement best practices to support organizational scalability and efficiency.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Administration of AD Server, VMware VCenter, and Windows Servers:
- Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Active Directory (AD) servers, ensuring proper user access and security policies.
- Oversee VMware VCenter operations, including the setup and management of virtual machines.
- Maintain and monitor Windows Servers to ensure optimal performance and availability.
2. Management of Network Devices:
- Manage and maintain network devices including Fortigate and Palo Alto Firewalls, switches, routers, WiFi Access Points (AP), NAS, SAN storage, and other related facilities in the computer room.
- Regularly update firmware and software on network devices to ensure security and functionality.
3. Support WAN Network Installation and Management:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and management of Wide Area Network (WAN) connections.
- Ensure reliable and secure communication between branch offices and the central office.
4. Cybersecurity Management:
- Manage cybersecurity protection systems including Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), firewall policies, anti-virus, malware protection, EDR/MDR, SOC.
- Regularly review and update security protocols to protect against emerging threats.
5. Remote/On-site Support for Branch Office MIS:
- Provide remote or on-site support to branch office Management Information Systems (MIS) teams for IT technical problems.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
6. AWS Network Operation Support:
- Provide support for AWS network operations, including monitoring and managing cloud-based services.
- Ensure the seamless integration of cloud services with on-premises infrastructure.
7. Participation in IT Departmental Projects:
- Actively participate in IT departmental projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementation.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure successful project delivery.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Knowledge and Work Experience:
1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT systems administration, Network management, and Cybersecurity, including a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure/Cybersecurity project planning, implementation and rollout. Global project implementation and rollout will be a great plus.
- Including a minimum of 3+ years of experience in Infrastructure/Cybersecurity project budget planning, budget management, solution survey and vendor management. Experience in developing project WBS will be a great plus.
2. Experience in people management will be a great plus.
Key Behavioral and Competencies:
* Proficient in English, with the ability to discuss project implementation and technical specifications with international colleagues.
* Proficiency in managing network devices including firewalls, routers, switches, and storage systems.
* Strong knowledge of AD Server, VMware VCenter, and Windows Server administration.
* Experience with WAN network management and remote support.
* Expertise in security management including IPS, firewall policy management, and anti-virus/malware protection.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Certifications:
MUST-HAVE Certifications:
1. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
2. VMware Certified Professional (VCP) is required.
Certifications for a great plus:
1. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) is a plus.
2. AWS certification is a great plus.
