About the Role
We are recruiting an outstanding General Manager to lead operations at a premium workplace catering venue.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily workplace catering operations, ensuring outstanding service and a seamless dining experience.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the onsite catering team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Drive client satisfaction and continually enhance the customer experience through innovative service approaches.
* Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial objectives are met through accurate forecasting and cost control.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure smooth service delivery, including strategic menu planning and execution.
* Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to uphold operational efficiency and consistency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial role within lifestyle hospitality, contemporary upmarket restaurants or world class workplace catering.
* Proven expertise in overseeing daily operations, including team management, inventory control, and guest services.
* Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in budgeting, cost management, and revenue forecasting.
* Exceptional leadership and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and strategic approach to operational challenges.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring strong team coordination and client engagement.
* Good knowledge of menu planning and food preparation, with an understanding of food trends, allergens, and dietary requirements.
* Excellent knowledge of current trends in food and an innovative mindset.
