The Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of pharmaceutical machinery, ensuring optimal machine performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities & Competences
1. Assembly of mechanical components
2. Commissioning of pharmaceutical or similar machinery
3. Performance/Yield support
4. Prevention of technical issues, breakdowns, and critical incidents
5. On-site production support, including inspection, maintenance, calibration, changes, upgrades, and improvements
6. Troubleshooting and disaster recovery
7. Format installations
8. Customer training
9. Documentation & reporting
10. Providing long-term onsite support
11. Analyzing customer production needs
12. Executing simple machinery modifications
13. Determining recommended maintenance schedules (spare parts replacement & calibration)
14. Executing move-in, installation & commissioning in a cleanroom environment
15. Ensuring machines remain at validated status and involving additional support when necessary
16. Following processes and documentation guidelines for pharmaceutical compliance
17. Working in international teams on-site and remotely
Specifications
Job Experiences:
1. Minimum 2 years experience with special machinery
2. Experience with syringe & vials equipment
Education & Other Requirements:
1. Mechanical or electrical degree or diploma
2. Technical apprenticeship/training
3. Ability to work with and read technical drawings
