We are currently seeking project managers to join Global Shares (a J.P. Morgan Company).
As a Project Manager in join Global Shares (a J.P. Morgan Company), you will support a cross line of business transformation project with inputs from multiple departments and teams, primarily ensuring that the Global Shares line of business is aligned and on track to support the achievement of the firms strategic objectives. You will be involved in multiple workstreams, leading and motivating stakeholders to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and milestones and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, in scope with the budget. You will participate in establishing project management best practices and principles to expand and mature these capabilities within the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Understand interdependencies between technology, operational and business needs ensuring these are managed effectively across projects
Oversee the definition of business requirements and technology requirements, ensuring items are logged appropriately
Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, risks and issues, communicating effectively across leadership and project teams
Track cross project dependencies, progressively communicating dependency status’ ensuring dependent requirements are delivered smoothly
Support the Product Owner and Business Analyst team in managing communications with stakeholders, managing expectations for deliverables, and implementing an effective project governance system
Supervise the projects testing phases, checking priorities and allocations, monitoring defects and communicating the user acceptance testing status to all stakeholders
Manage the definition of the future state model, ensuring core business requirements are captured
Track the implementation of the future state model, including managing operational change management and new process roll-out
Manage large amounts of information and confidently communicate across teams ensuring positive collaboration with all stakeholders.
Help teams achieve a high level of performance and quality, holding teams accountable for their work and removing obstacles
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
Proven success in project management through the successful delivery of multiple cross-functional projects
Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations
Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget close
Team-building skills with technical and non-technical staff.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Outstanding organizational skills, ability to prioritize and focus on critical components
The ability to work well with others.
Showing a comfort with quickly changing priorities, plus a highly developed adaptability and flexibility.
A strong familiarity with various Agile and Scrum elements, including Agile planning and Agile project management with Scrum
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
PMP / PRINCE II or similar certification is a plus.
Working knowledge of Employee Equity Plans is beneficial.
