Head Chef Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in a busy hotel operation in Co Cork. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen management, including menu development, inventory control, and staff supervision.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead a high-performing kitchen team to achieve excellent food quality and presentation standards.
* Develop and implement new menus and dishes to meet customer demands and increase revenue.
* Maintain accurate financial records, including gross profit margins, forecasting, and costings.
* Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef in a hotel or similar establishment.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
* Excellent culinary skills, with knowledge of menu planning, food costing, and inventory control.
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing business demands.
