Your new role as Health and Safety Advisor involves developing a diverse and impressive portfolio of work.
This position offers the opportunity to make a real impact on the safety culture of the organisation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and promoting best practices across all areas of operations.
You will report to the SHEQ/Systems Manager and be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of all team members.
You will work closely with various departments to assess risks, conduct safety audits, and drive initiatives that enhance workplace safety across the organisation.
This role covers all sites across the group in Northern Ireland, requiring travel between sites.
Requirements
* 5 years' experience working in health and safety within engineering, manufacturing, or construction with a strong background in health and safety.
* Hands-on experience working on manufacturing and construction sites, supporting the implementation and management of Health & Safety protocols.
* Solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation relevant to construction and engineering industries.
* NEBOSH National Construction Certificate or equivalent.
* Full driving license.
* Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
* Strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively.
* Experience of working on own initiative and acting to resolve any issues impacting performance.
