Job Description
Our team is seeking a sales professional to develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, promoting our products, solutions, software, and services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to build strong business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement commercial strategies for targeted consultants and specifier channels.
* Promote and educate applicable consultants and specifier channels on our offers.
* Develop in-depth knowledge of our full product portfolio and apply it across the customer lifecycle.
* Cross-sell our offers and develop working knowledge of all product lines.
* Establish and implement dynamic sales plans aligned with company policy, objectives, and strategy.
* Bridge Front Office capturing opportunity data and producing reports and forecasts in a timely manner.
* Provide relevant information to the tendering team and interact with other sales team members and zone marketing.
* Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure effective cross-entity co-operation.
* Manage and resolve customer issues by assigning them to the most appropriate owners within the business units.
* Maintain accurate customer and partner records using company tools.
* Develop core competencies in line with personal development plans.
* Sponsor company initiatives and champion product competency development among team members.
* Monitor competitor actions and provide timely reporting as required.
Qualifications:
* The successful candidate should hold a degree in engineering or a related field and have previous sales experience in electrical or mechanical engineering.
* Electrical systems, distribution, and protection experience are advantageous.
* Software sales experience is also beneficial.
* Able account management skills and cold calling expertise are essential.
* Persuading and convincing others to support our offers is crucial.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
* Good knowledge of power systems, secure power, and industry systems is desirable.
