Job Description
A 12-month Maintenance Technician position is available at a Waterford based pharmaceutical client.
The Role
* Carry out repair and maintenance tasks of all Process and/or Facilities Equipment to achieve an acceptable level of production output in full compliance with Quality and Safety and cGMP Standards.
* Input data into the Maintenance PM System, including operation of such systems.
* Generate and own new equipment asset registration, compile data and schedules to generate preventative maintenance programs for new equipment.
* Liaise with equipment vendors to define maintenance schedules, order and receive spare parts.
* Support equipment FAT, SAT, and all qualifications. May be required to train others on all equipment, maintenance tasks, set up procedures, and safety awareness.
* Operate and maintain all equipment to achieve an acceptable level of production output.
* Complete all duties as per relevant SOPs.
* Adhere to all relevant dress requirements with respect to cGMPs and PPE rules.
* Conduct all maintenance duties in a safe manner and report all safety issues or concerns.
* Support and back up all maintenance teams, i.e., facilities and manufacturing when required.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Maintenance Technician role in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
* Junior & Senior trades certificate or an equivalent third-level qualification.
