The Opportunity
Our client is now seeking an Offshore Contracts Manager to join their Offshore Delivery function. The successful candidate will be part of the team reporting to the Head of Offshore Delivery and will be responsible for assisting with the development, execution and ongoing management of effective procurement strategies for the Offshore Delivery programme.
As Offshore Contracts Manager, you will assist in the development of new Offshore Frameworks and define the Procurement Strategy in liaison with key business functions to ensure their requirements are fully met in a cost-efficient manner. You will lead all Procurement Activity on their current frameworks to ensure that key Regulatory, Legal, and Commercial Governance Policies and processes are properly addressed and managed in a timely manner.
You will assist with the Entire Partner Lifecycle including but not limited to; calling off the strategic relationships, onboarding, service delivery and offboarding activities.
They will look to you to communicate to management on Supply Chain Developments and provide regular market intelligence updates highlighting any risks on their Critical Business Path as early as possible. In your role, you will provide Professional Procurement expertise to deliver on key business objectives and collaborate closely with the commercial team in Finance.
The Team
The Infrastructure office comprises highly skilled professionals with backgrounds in engineering and business/commerce. The Infrastructure Office is responsible for leading the development and delivery of the Power System and Interconnection investment programmes, in collaboration with partners, customers & communities.
The Offshore Delivery function is responsible for the Successful Delivery of large-scale Strategic Offshore Infrastructure projects which is central to the achievement of our transition to a low carbon future.
The team oversees the Management and Programme Coordination of the cross-functional work required to deliver the Connection Projects and Asset Readiness Projects which will culminate with the Offshore Transmission Assets being connected and handed over to their Owner-Operatorship.
About You
Successful candidates will have:
1. 3rd level Qualification in Supply Chain Management/Engineering/Business/Law or equivalent with 10+ years’ experience
2. Knowledge of Utilities and/or experience of Public Sector Tendering
3. Proven experience of working in Contract Management, Client Engagement and/or service delivery
4. Expertise in the Procurement of services or products within or destined for the Offshore/Onshore Energy industry
5. Working knowledge of Purchasing Tools, Platforms and Processes
6. Understanding of the Financial Analysis and Reporting of project budgets
