Job Summary: The Regional Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of multiple facilities within a designated region. This role ensures that all facilities are safe, functional, and compliant with regulations, while also managing budgets, staff, and vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities: Facility Operations: Oversee the daily operations of all facilities within the region. Ensure all facilities are maintained to a high standard and comply with safety regulations. Oversee, develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures. Conduct operational audits. Compile asset condition assessment reports. Oversee and monitor all work order activities to mitigate risks and ensure KPI timeframes are achieved. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the facilities budget. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective operations. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise facility staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development. Foster a positive and productive work environment. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure services are delivered as per agreements. Evaluate vendor performance and address any issues. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all facilities comply with relevant regulatory bodies. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards. Ensure RAMS content is aligned to work activities and provide guidance and support to contractors and self-delivery technicians. Project Management: Oversee facility renovation and improvement projects. Coordinate with contractors and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Monitor project progress and address any issues. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of facility operations, maintenance, and expenses. Prepare regular reports for senior management. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or a related technical field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
