Job Summary
We are seeking a Sous Chef for Arthur Cox in Dublin City. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef and possess strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Take full control of the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, including training of junior members.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, and hygiene standards.
* Maintain and use kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
* Deliver consistent service in a clean and professional environment.
Requirements
* Minimise wastage and encourage creative thinking.
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef.
* Adhere to company and government food safety legislation.
* Ensure good kitchen planning for trouble-free service and customer satisfaction.
* Help promote and maintain a positive working environment.
* Be hands-on, passionate, energetic, self-motivated, and passionate about food, standards, and results.
