Kylemore Cars is Ireland's leading independent used car retailer, with 800+ cars in stock. We are currently recruiting an Accounts Administrator to join our team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be key in supporting the Inventory & Process Manager along with other departments within the business.
Key duties and responsibilities:
1. Recording, updating and maintaining vehicles in the Company’s Core System.
2. Administrate various accounting processes associated with the preparation and registration of vehicles, including:
1. Vehicle Registration Tax (VRT) preparation and maintenance thereafter to support ongoing timely and accurate reporting.
2. Act as the first point of contact, within the accounts team, to purchasing and other departments with accounting related queries.
3. Registration of vehicles.
4. Scanning and organisation of files.
5. Log book replacement queries.
3. Support accounts receivable and payable processes, including posting of invoices.
4. Any other accounts tasks that may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis.
Skills
1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
2. Strong attention to detail.
3. Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
4. The capacity to work to deadlines with ability to self-prioritise tasks.
5. Must speak fluent English.
Education and experience
1. Candidate must have proven experience in a similar office role and hold Leaving Certificate or equivalent with further qualifications an advantage.
2. Must be proficient with technology with experience in MS Office an advantage.
