What you will be responsible for
The Business Analyst Consultant is a critical member of the Professional Services team responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the ALTO platform. This role involves collaborating with clients to gather and analyse business requirements, and optimizing workflows to align with ALTO’s capabilities. The consultant acts as a bridge between client stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand their business needs, workflows, and objectives.
• Conduct detailed discovery sessions to identify gaps in current systems and opportunities for Amundi’s ALTO Platform implementation.
• Document and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with ALTO’s capabilities.
2. Workflow and Process Optimization
• Assess existing client workflows and recommend improvements using ALTO’s functionality.
• Map end-to-end processes, integrating ALTO’s tools for portfolio management, risk analysis, and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline operations to increase efficiency.
3. Data Analysis and Validation
• Collaborate with Data Integration Specialists to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data migration.
• Analyze and validate migrated data to ensure it aligns with client requirements.
• Support testing phases by providing business insights and validating system outputs.
4. Stakeholder Communication
• Act as the primary liaison between the client’s business teams and the technical teams.
• Facilitate workshops, presentations, and status meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
• Translate technical concepts into clear business language for client stakeholders.
5. Testing and User Acceptance
• Define business-focused test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist the client in executing UAT and resolving issues related to workflows or configurations.
• Validate that the ALTO platform meets agreed-upon business requirements before go-live.
6. Risk Post-Implementation Support
• Provide support during the initial go-live phase, ensuring the smooth adoption of ALTO by end-users.
• Work closely with the Client Services Manager to address early feedback and refine workflows.
• Document lessons learned and feedback for continuous improvement of the implementation process.
7. Industry Expertise and Best Practices
• Wealth, asset management and/or asset servicing experience is preferred.
• Advise clients on leveraging ALTO to address regulatory requirements and market trends.
• Share knowledge of ALTO’s capabilities and new features to optimize client outcomes.

Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of investment management processes (e.g., portfolio management, trading, risk analysis).
• Familiarity with data models, data structures, and integration workflows.
• Proficiency in using JIRA or similar project tracking tools for task management, issue tracking, and workflow optimization.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and design optimized workflows.
• Strong data analysis skills to validate and reconcile data outputs.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate requirement gathering and documentation.
Communication and Collaboration
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation skills to lead workshops and discussions effectively.
• Ability to manage client expectations and provide clear updates on progress.
Project Management Awareness
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within project timelines.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies such as PMI, Prince, Agile (Scrum) PM or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• CFA Level 1+, IMC (Investment Management Certificate) or equivalent is preferred.
• 5 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or implementing technology solutions in the financial services industry.
• Experience with ALTO or similar platforms (e.g., Aladdin, Charles River, Bloomberg AIM) is required.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, portfolio analytics, and risk management concepts.
