About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Person to drive sales of a comprehensive range of farm machinery, develop new customer relationships, and maintain existing ones. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the agricultural sector, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a new customer base within the assigned sales area through proactive prospecting and networking.
Conduct cold calling to identify potential customers and promote the company's products and services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.
Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the business.
Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations to meet customers' specific needs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's product range and market trends.
Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate record-keeping.
Collaborate with internal teams, including service and parts, to provide comprehensive customer solutions.
Represent the company at trade shows, agricultural events, and other promotional activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural or farm machinery sector (not essential but advantageous).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to sales.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Basic understanding of farm machinery and the agricultural industry is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Autoview is a plus.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the assigned area.
