The Role
The successful candidate will work on a diverse portfolio of clients and groups, providing excellent client service, identifying new opportunities, and undertaking complex compliance work.
They will support junior team members, review their work, and collaborate on advisory projects, including mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, intellectual property planning, and reorganization assignments.
As part of the role, the individual will also assist partners and directors with business development opportunities, proposals, and networking events.
Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain relationships with clients, focusing on internationally active companies.
* Work with partners and directors on advisory projects.
* Coordinate and collaborate with other firm member offices on cross-border projects and business development initiatives.
* Provide mentorship to junior staff and contribute to attracting, developing, and retaining top talent for the firm.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
* ITI and ACA/ACCA qualification.
* At least 2-3 years of experience in a management role in a tax practice or industry.
* Experience managing a corporate client portfolio with strong commercial expertise.
* Strong technical skills to deliver corporate tax advisory services.
* Prior experience working with foreign direct investment cases (desirable but not essential).
* Team player with experience managing staff.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Strong Microsoft application skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
