As a Rebate and Accounting Manager, you will oversee rebate programs, ensuring timely and accurate payments and reconciliations along with supporting the finance function of the company. You will work closely with the Business and Finance Departments to ensure all calculations and procedures comply with contractual requirements.
Schedule: Full-time position, Monday – Friday, with standard working hours.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Maintaining and enhancing the team's rebate payment calculation, reporting, and communication processes.
2. Producing monthly forecasts for the business.
3. Understanding client contractual obligations and performing detailed manual calculations to determine the rebates due to clients based on those obligations.
4. Preparing internal and external reporting to support payments to clients and performing rebate payment reconciliations.
5. Evaluating client contracts and amendments on an ongoing basis and tracking updated rebate payment terms to ensure accurate client liability forecasts and calculations.
6. Reviewing and analysing rebate reimbursements to ensure contract compliance.
7. Recording accounting journals as required for month end processing.
8. Supporting senior management with the finance function.
9. Making recommendations for process improvements when identified.
10. Supporting financial audits and month end management report as required.
11. Conducting ad hoc analyses as needed.
12. Solving moderately complex problems and/or conducting moderately complex analyses.

Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or accreditation with professional accounting body (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
2. Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
3. Advanced level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
4. Experience with SAP / PeopleSoft Financials is an advantage.
5. Experience in pharmaceutical rebate processing, contract management, or a related finance role is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Ability to read, understand and execute on detailed contract language.
2. Proficiency in financial software and databases.

3. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
