Your new role
This is a position for an HR Officer in Fermoy reporting to the HR Manager-ROI. The role involves providing HR support to the Fermoy site and its management team. The HR Officer will manage end-to-end recruitment processes and the onboarding process, track and report HR metrics, manage HR administration, support performance management, and manage grievance and disciplinary investigations. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Group Head of HR on projects and provide operational and strategic HR support to line managers and the Head of HR.
What you'll need to succeed
The job requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, ideally in a manufacturing environment. A third level qualification is essential and CIPD membership is a plus. Strong administration skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and operate professionally are required. The candidate should possess strong computer skills, be flexible, adaptable, and have the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Additionally, the candidate should have a results-driven, customer-focused, and collaborative team-focused mindset. Good interpersonal, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills are necessary. The candidate should be highly organised and attentive to detail, possess good written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The company location is not accessible by public transport, own transport is essential.
