About the Role
The Orchard Care Group is a wholly owned Irish company providing services to children and young adults in the care and disability sectors. The group comprises of Orchard Fostering, Orchard Residential and Orchard Community Care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy assessments and interventions to children and young people with complex disabilities, focusing on enhancing their communication and functional abilities and participation in daily activities.
* Demonstrate exemplary clinical skills in SLT assessment, intervention and diagnostics to meet the specific needs of children and young people with a range of disabilities including physical, sensory, autism, etc.
* Develop individualized treatment plans, support plans based on evidence-based practices.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and Regional Directors to provide holistic care.
Requirements
* A recognised third level qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
* A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, preferably working with children and young adults with disabilities.
* Ideally experience in delivery of communication aid programmes, including Lamh.
