Store Manager Role
This is a full-time contract position that requires flexibility, with a requirement to work 5 days out of 7 without late nights.
The ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for reporting to the Operations Manager and being the driving force across the store.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure high stock standards, presentation, health and safety, and stock loss prevention.
* Ability to plan, prioritize, and delegate effectively.
* Maintain visually appealing store displays and merchandising.
* Liaise daily with Head Office.
* Engage positively with staff at all levels and maintain good store morale.
* Manage store deliveries and ensure both shop floor and storeroom are prepared.
* Pursue innovative ways to increase footfall, turnover, and grow margins.
* Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Manage day-to-day operations and resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally.
Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum 2-3 years retail store management experience.
* Excellent understanding of customer needs.
* A passion and drive for retail.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy retail environment.
* Professional attitude and approach to working in a retail environment.
* Personable and confident in managing a team.
* Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.
