Sales Manager
We are seeking a driven and passionate Sales Manager to work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing, along with the Property Sales team.
Purpose of the Role:
To maximise hotel profits by assisting in event business organisation and boosting property sales across all segments.
Key Objectives:
* Deliver high-quality service to MICE and group business
* Organise events and carry out associated administration in a timely and effective manner
* Professionally represent Mount Juliet Estate at all times
Focus Areas:
* Manage key accounts and prospects to ensure maximum yield in line with hotel budgetary objectives
* Work with Marriott Teams and preferred accounts internationally to drive MICE business
* Maintain valid call objectives and action plans for each key account/prospect
* Compile monthly sales action plans with budgets as agreed with DOSM
* Personally make appointments and conduct telephone research
* Work with DMCs, maintaining relationships and driving business into Mount Juliet Estate
* Identify opportunities, arrange familiarisation trips, and create innovative ideas for revenue generation
* Conduct sales trips, attend industry events, and pursue residential group sales
* Be responsible for meetings, conferences, banquets, and group sales, ensuring efficient handling of enquiries and proposals
* Ensure accurate diary management, issue contracts, and maintain files on all enquiries and bookings
