We are seeking a seasoned professional to propel our agency forward. As a senior role within the organization, this individual will possess genuine passion, energy, and vision. The ideal candidate will take the lead on sales, growth, and new business planning for the EMEA region, collaborating closely with the MD, Deputy MD, and full management team.
The Role
This is a full-time position as Business Director at Neon Agency, with an international remit, reporting directly to the MD & Deputy MD. The primary focus of the role is the growth of new business opportunities, briefs, and RFPs in the UK and Ireland. However, global operations may require travel and growth management on an international scale.
The priorities of this role revolve around sales and management of the new business pipeline, development of key marketing initiatives, and 100% ownership of leading on closing opportunities, pitches, and proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Growth of revenue within the business, focusing on new clients and existing clients, in line with annual targets.
* Management and ownership of the live sales report for the business.
* Detailed weekly reporting to senior management.
* Managing the new business pipeline with the management team.
* Overseeing the sales and marketing process, including the funnel pipeline for new business.
* Collaborating with the MD and deputy MD on the overall sales strategy.
* Developing a SMART sales strategy to close new opportunities, prioritizing outbound sales.
* Leading the sales process on pitches, proposals, and accurate costing for new business clients.
* Working closely with senior management on developing a new marketing plan.
* Collaborating with the Client Services, Production, and Creative teams on managing, developing, and executing key business pitches.
* SUPPORTING THE MD & DEPUTY MD ON ONGOING MANAGEMENT OF THE NEON BRAND ACROSS SOCIAL MEDIA, ONLINE BLOGS, EMAILS ETC.
* Maintaining the appearance of the business to ensure it meets brand standards.
* Accurately costing projects and controlling expenses related to the operation.

* A proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the events or related industry.
* A strong understanding of creative agency environments, event planning, live experiences, production, or related industries.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems and drive growth.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
