We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef for our client, a busy City Centre cafe/store.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, desserts, and pastries, ensuring high quality and consistency in every product.
Salary: €17-18 p/h + tips
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pastry production of cakes, desserts, breads, petit fours.
2. Creating new dessert menus.
3. Managing inventory and overseeing food safety practices.
4. A passion for baking, attention to detail, and strong knowledge of pastry techniques are essential.
5. Experience with Afternoon Tea would be an advantage.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry trends.
3. Excellent creativity and presentation skills.
4. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
