Job Summary:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Care Professionals, providing exceptional support and care to our service users.
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for energetic and creative individuals who are motivated to provide person-centered care and support to adults with intellectual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement a person-centered approach for each individual, tailored to their unique needs, wishes, and goals.
* Promote and protect the rights and dignity of our service users, respecting their autonomy and right to make choices.
* Identify new interests and opportunities for our service users to develop meaningful roles within their communities.
* Maintain the overall well-being of our service users, focusing on health, personal care, and creating a safe and nurturing environment.
* Utilize positive behaviour support strategies to address challenging behaviours, prioritizing the individual's well-being and safety.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to ensure the safety and security of our service users.
Requirements:
* A minimum of QQI Level 5 in Health Care Support/Social Care or equivalent qualification.
* 6 months' experience working with people with intellectual disabilities.
* Full clean driving license and willingness to drive company vehicles.
* Proficient in oral and written English Language.
* Legal right to work in Ireland and valid work authorisation.
