Our public sector services client, based in Dublin West, have an exciting requirement for an experienced HR Generalist to join their team, for 12-month contract. The successful candidate will provide HR guidance, support resolution of employee relations issues, analyze HR metrics and improve stakeholder engagement. Hybrid working on offer with 3 days onsite and 2-day WFH.
RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED
1. Provide HR advice and support to assigned business areas
2. Use employment law and policy & procedure knowledge to advise the best solution possible
3. Preparation and analysis of HR performance management data to share any requested intel/findings
4. Assisting in the development and implementation of organisational change initiatives
5. Contribute effectively to the workforce planning as needed
6. Advising on recruitment and retention strategies
7. Support management to deal with employee relations issues, providing sound advice on any IR issues that may arise
8. Manage recruitment processes through all stages, from drafting role specs to candidate selection
9. On-boarding and induction processes for all incoming employees
10. Support on payroll inputs for the organisation
11. Support the probation management process for all employees
12. Design and deliver internal training courses as required
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1. Third-level qualification in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources or Business/Commerce
2. 5+ years relevant HR experience
3. A full Category B driving licence
4. Public Sector experience would be desirable but not essential
5. Industrial Relations experience (Highly Desirable)
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills
7. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
