Position Overview:
The eCommerce Project Manager is responsible for managing transformation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves operationalizing strategic design work, managing workplans, and overseeing administrative tasks, reporting, and system workflows (such as Jira). The eCommerce Project Manager will report on program management health, ensuring effective execution and alignment with the overall ecommerce transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
1. Lead and manage ecommerce transformation projects from initiation to completion.
2. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
3. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
2. Operationalizing Strategy:
4. Translate strategic design work into actionable project plans.
5. Develop and implement workplans to operationalize strategic initiatives.
6. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of project tasks.
3. Administration and Reporting:
7. Oversee administrative tasks related to project management, including documentation, scheduling, and communication.
8. Utilize project management tools (e.g., Jira) to manage system workflows and track project progress.
9. Prepare and deliver regular reports on project status, highlighting key metrics and milestones.
4. System Workflows:
10. Manage and optimize system workflows to support efficient project execution.
11. Ensure all project-related activities are accurately tracked and documented in project management systems.
12. Provide training and support to team members on using project management tools.
5. Program Management Health Reporting:
13. Monitor and report on the overall health of the program management function.
14. Develop and present dashboards and reports that provide insights into project performance and program health.
15. Identify and escalate potential risks and issues to senior leadership.
6. Stakeholder Communication:
16. Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity on project goals and progress.
17. Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders as needed.
18. Address stakeholder concerns and ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
19. Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP or similar certification preferred.
20. Proven experience in project management, preferably within an ecommerce or digital transformation environment.
21. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Jira).
22. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
23. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
24. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
25. Proficiency in using project management software and tools for planning, tracking, and reporting.
26. Experience in reporting on project and program health, with a focus on metrics and KPIs
