Overview
Digital marketing supports customer journeys through data-driven channel strategies, demand generation and automated marketing. The Senior Manager, Web Solutions (Owner) owns the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our web channel. They advocate for the web team within Cook, foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, and align web strategies with overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning:
1. Develop and own the vision and strategy for the web channel, aligning it with business goals and industry best practices.
2. Navigate the complexities of a content management systems (CMS) transition away from WordPress, ensuring smooth transition while maintaining website functionality and user experience.
3. Define, execute, and plan the web roadmap, prioritizing initiatives and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
4. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of web initiatives, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
5. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web channel management, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.
Team Management and Collaboration:
6. Advocate for the web team and the channel within Cook, ensuring that their needs and contributions are recognized and supported.
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams and program owners to understand project progress and its impact on the web team, fostering collaboration and alignment.
8. Serve as part of the global Digital leadership team.
9. Participate in the hiring and training of roles necessary to support the Digital team.
10. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and feedback, both formally through the performance management process and informally through daily discussions and interactions, while recognizing employees for their contributions.
11. Create an environment of learning and development for team members.
Stakeholder Engagement:
12. Engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gather feedback, communicate updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
13. Maintain a good understanding of company stakeholders and goals and objectives to align projects and priorities.
Project Management:
14. Implement agile methodologies to streamline project execution, foster adaptability, and enhance collaboration within the web team.
15. Identify and mitigate risks related to web initiatives, proactively addressing challenges, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
16. Manage vendors, freelance and other required contractual support to meet timelines and objectives.

Qualifications
Requirements:
23. Degree in Digital Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Or 10+ years relevant work experience.
24. Proven experience (10+ years) in web product ownership, preferably within the healthcare or medical device industry.
25. Proficiency in web technologies, content management systems (CMS), and digital analytics tools.
26. Well-versed in transitioning from WordPress to other content management systems (CMS).
27. Mastery of developing and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and processes for complicated web channels.
28. Mastery of agile product management with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within budget constraints.
29. Mastery of ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
30. Mastery of communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
31. Understanding of regulatory requirements governing digital healthcare solutions, including HIPAA, GDPR, and FDA regulations.
32. Creative problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
33. Works under general office environmental conditions.
34. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
35. Occasional travel, domestic & international, may be required.
