Chief Operations Officer [COO]
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading Home Care Provider, to fill this Senior Management Position at a period of rapid expansion for the company. Based in their Sligo office, the role will require regular travel to their offices in the Northwest, North East, and Midlands.
The COO will have responsibility for the delivery of safe, effective, person-centered, quality health services, leading business development and strategic growth across the business, and working closely with key internal personnel and service delivery partners to deliver the highest quality of homecare.
The COO will manage the day-to-day operations, human and financial resources, and ensure that all teams are effective and high performing.
Working closely with the Board of Directors, the COO will be responsible for the continued success of the company's strategic plans and goals. Excelling at organizational leadership, this individual will be a role model for the company values and culture.
You will champion the implementation of innovation and best practices.
The COO will drive clinical governance and practice standards while overseeing the delivery of the highest quality of care in line with HIQA and HSE standards.
The person will oversee the implementation of rigorous review programs while challenging the status quo to identify new improved approaches to service delivery, which will allow the company to reach a gold standard of service provision at all levels.
The ideal candidate will take a hands-on philosophy, providing operational and strategic support to team members and owning the governance, quality, and risk management functions.
The COO will plan current and future workforce needs to ensure a proactive approach to service delivery while working with the HR function to recruit and retain appropriately qualified and skilled staff across the organization.
Working closely with all external partners to deliver the highest quality of service in demanding and sometimes sensitive situations.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 plus years of senior leadership experience with relevant healthcare qualifications or related healthcare exposure.
You will have experience managing the governance, risk management, and quality functions in a fast-moving, evolving, and sometimes sensitive environment.
