This role is part of the AWS Infrastructure Services team, responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure. We are the people who keep the cloud running, supporting all AWS data centers and servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure our customers have continuous access to innovation.

Key responsibilities include daily building rounds to monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment, as well as monitoring Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS). Additionally, this role involves troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA), performing rack installs and decommissioning, and technical writing to support change management programs.

The successful candidate will possess technical training or 1+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience in a mission-critical infrastructure or equivalent experience in a relevant industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is also required. A high school or equivalent diploma is necessary for consideration.
