Service Department Manager – Cork (Macroom)
Are you a commercially minded leader with experience in service operations?
A growing engineering company is looking for a Service Department Manager to lead and expand its nationwide service team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a mix of office and client-facing responsibilities, focusing on team management, service efficiency, and business growth.
The Role:
1. Lead and develop a team of five technicians and one office staff member, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.
2. Oversee commissioning, annual servicing, and breakdown response for HVAC products, including AHUs, gas heaters, and radiant tube heaters.
3. Manage service operations across Ireland, winning contracts and optimising workflows—no hands-on maintenance required.
4. Implement service management software to enhance scheduling, invoicing, and job tracking.
5. Drive business growth by securing new service contracts and expanding revenue streams.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while optimising team efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Proven service management experience, ideally in HVAC or a related industry.
2. Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a focus on team development.
3. Commercial acumen—someone who can chase leads, develop new business, and contribute to increasing service revenue.
4. Experience with service management software and process improvement.
5. Full, clean driving license required.
