Job Title: Assistant Professor in Political Science and Qualitative Methods
The Department of Political Science, Trinity College Dublin, seeks an Assistant Professor to commence on 1st September 2024. This is a tenure-track position.
Responsibilities:
* Teach modules in qualitative research methods (including case studies, process tracing, and interviews) and substantive areas of politics (e.g., comparative politics, international relations, political communication).
* Supervise postgraduate research students and contribute to the administration of the programme and/or department.
Requirements:
* A PhD in Political Science or a related field.
* Expertise in qualitative research methods and substantive areas of politics.
* A strong teaching record and ability to teach effectively.
* A commitment to research and publication.
Salary:
This appointment will be made on the Lecturer Full Salary Scale (€38,719 - €94,031 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
