Native Japanese Localisation Specialist
Zazzle is seeking a skilled Native Japanese Localisation Specialist to join our International team. As a hybrid role, you will work with colleagues worldwide and across the company, including SEO, SEM, Merchandising, Email, Customer Support, Legal, Compliance, and other Localisation specialists.
This role is responsible for the localisation, maintenance, and growth of the Japanese domain as part of the Onsite Marketing team. Key responsibilities include:
1. Localising all copy, including product descriptions and new features with translations, measurements, cultural references, etc., using a range of internal tools.
2. Partnering with the Merchandising team to localise and optimise onsite landing pages and experiences, tracking the impact of changes on conversion and bounce rates.
3. Working with the SEO team to optimise landing pages for organic traffic, including keyword and competitor research, and creating SEO copy, tracking the impact of changes on rankings, impressions, and clicks.
4. Collaborating with the SEM team to optimise Google Ads campaigns to capture available demand and traffic in the Japanese market while maintaining efficiency and net contribution.
5. Scheduling all discounts and promotions, monitoring their impact on conversion rates, bookings, and gross contribution, and suggesting alternative offers to suit the Japanese market when required.
6. Localising and QA-ing all campaign and trigger emails with translations or new marketing copy, PID recommendations, etc.
7. Conducting competitor research for campaign ideas and pricing analysis.
8. Closely monitoring and analysing bookings, gross and net contribution, traffic, conversion rates, etc.
9. Assisting the Customer Care team with Japanese cases, address translations, help-centre articles, responses to third-party review sites, and other tasks when required.
10. Regularly QA-ing the Japanese site, reporting and following up on any bugs or issues with relevant teams.
11. Assisting with marketing tasks/projects on other International domains when required.
