The Impact You'll MakeManages the environmental, industrial, health and safety regulation compliance and performance for the EMEA defined region facilities.
It is a full-time position which can be based in one of our major office locations: Meylan (France), Agrate (Italy), Dublin (Ireland), Dresden (Germany).
What You'll DoOversees the development, planning, and implementation of regional field environmental, health and safety policies, procedures, business processes and prevention initiatives throughout the defined region.Develops and oversees company training programs for employees in areas such as compliance training, lab/plant inspection, hazardous material handling, emergency response, industrial hygiene, and life safety.Ensures compliance with local regulations pertaining to environmental safety and handles all contact with appropriate agencies.Use appropriate communications and escalations to inform upper management of all injuries and emergency incidents, including updates until root cause, corrective & preventive actions are identified and implemented.Ensures appropriate corrective action is taken where health and safety hazards exist.Participate in the development of projects and prevention initiatives as well as participate in incident investigations.Manages Region EHS Field leading performance metrics and uses information to assist in business reporting and decision making.
Prepare and present related information and indicators on a quarterly basis and as often as requested/needed.May perform other related duties as assigned or requested.Who We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in science or engineering preferred or equivalent.5 years of EHS engineering or related experience.Knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations and requirements in the different countries represented in the region.Technical experience in the areas of field service, EHS, product safety or semiconductor operations.Field service-related work experience is desirable.Specific Safety certification in any of the relevant EMEA country desirable.Preferred QualificationsRequired skills are: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, influence, manage by influence and drive results.Ability to run an effective meeting with focus on problem statement and results.Knowledge of semiconductor industry w/direct experience required.Exceptional root cause and corrective/preventive action development skills.Strong problem solving and decision-making skills and demonstrated expertise in a formal problem-solving methodology.Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills.Strong Presentation Skills - demonstrates presentation skills, influence and effectiveness on complex content, in front of peers.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Fluent in English, 1 or 2 other languages would be a plus.Ability to work in a matrix environment.Travel flexibility within Europe on a regular basis and overseas occasionally.Our CommitmentWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
