We are currently seeking to recruit a Construction Solicitor at 0 – 2 years PQE level to join our growing Projects, Infrastructure and Energy team. Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing a range of transactional, advisory and contentious matters in the construction industry.
2. Drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke building and engineering contracts, development agreements, professional appointments, collateral warranties and ancillary project documents.
3. Providing robust and commercial legal advice in relation to various construction issues including contract interpretation, claims management, building regulations and health and safety requirements.
4. Preparing legal submissions and representing clients in all types of dispute resolution processes, including principally adjudication, conciliation, mediation, and arbitration.
5. Developing and maintaining strong client relationships and working as part of a team to deliver exceptional legal services.
6. Keeping up to date with legal developments in the construction industry and representing Beauchamps at industry events and seminars.
7. Assisting with internal know-how and the development of internal legal precedents.
The Candidate:
1. 0-2 years' PQE with a strong interest in construction law, project and infrastructure development. Previous experience in construction law is preferred but not essential.
2. Excellent communication and organisation skills and an ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
3. Strong academic record.
4. Excellent technical and drafting skills.
5. High level of commercial and business awareness.
6. A proactive, measured and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
