We are seeking a Fraud Investigator to join our team on a 7-month contract. In this role, you will be pivotal in investigating suspicious claims and activities on our platform. By leveraging your expertise, you'll ensure the integrity of our operations while delivering excellent customer experiences.
Sounds great! What will my day-to-day look like?
* Conduct thorough investigations into suspicious claims and platform activities.
* Manage cases by determining validity and resolutions in line with internal policies.
* Handle inbound and outbound communications, including tickets, emails, calls, and casework.
* Contact users and providers to gather documentation and verify information.
* Collaborate with other departments to address and confirm fraudulent account activities.
* Work closely with stakeholders to align strategies for fraud-related cases.
* Compile detailed incident reports as directed by leadership.
* Provide regular updates to supervisors and managers regarding claims and escalations.
* Escalate fraud rings and risk issues as identified.
* Promote fraud prevention awareness across the Claims team and broader organization.
What do I need?
* Language proficiency in English (a second regional language is a plus).
* 2-3 years of experience in claims assessment, dispute resolution, fraud investigations, or crisis management.
* 2+ years of experience in customer service.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken).
* Strong time management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
* Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
* High attention to detail and ability to handle complex cases.
* Proactive and action-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation.
* Experience working with internal stakeholders or third-party providers to resolve disputes efficiently.
Preferred:
* Experience in fraud insurance investigation or program management.
* Familiarity with first-party property or liability claims.
* Understanding of Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) or Adjusters.
* Experience managing partner or vendor relationships.
This opportunity is a 7-month contract, Hybrid in Dublin.
