GPC Finance are working with a long and well established firm of Chartered Accountants in Co. Kildare. Due to continued success, they are now expanding. This is an exciting time for a Qualified Accountant to join an experienced and professional team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, a strong understanding of Irish accounting standards, and excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with Irish GAAP and IFRS.
2. Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and payroll taxes.
4. Conduct regular financial audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
5. Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, including financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
6. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as necessary.
7. Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
2. Thorough understanding of Irish GAAP and IFRS.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficiency in accounting software.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
