Our client, a leader in the Pharma Sector, requires a Group Financial Reporting Accountant.
Group Financial Reporting Accountant
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Prepare the Group annual report, interim and quarterly financial statements, including primary statements and supporting note disclosures, in compliance with IFRS.
* Drive process improvements within the Group consolidation system and continuously review data quality.
* Manage the month-end close process and timelines.
* Liaise with management reporting and Group teams to ensure comprehensive and accurate reporting.
* Liaise with Group companies regarding reporting, accounting, and chart of accounts.
* Review policies and procedures for the finance function and ensure adherence to the finance manual through periodic reviews.
* Prepare audit files and liaise with auditors. Assist with the management of the audit process.
* Review and assess controls and work with process integration to implement or enhance internal controls.
* Conduct relevant project work, such as acquisitions, as required.
Qualification, Experience & Skills Required:
* A qualified Accountant with experience, preferably working in or with a Plc.
* Significant experience preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
* Demonstrated ability to work within a team to achieve common goals.
* Ability to work with significant volumes of data to investigate and arrive at an information-based decision.
* Ability to deliver results independently within a short period.
* Demonstrate good communication skills when dealing with key stakeholders.
