Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. Key responsibilities include:
* Processing payroll internally using Sage Micropay, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
* Advertising all relevant roles, communicating with candidates throughout the recruitment process, processing applications, creating short lists for recruiting managers, scheduling interviews, and communicating outcomes to candidates.
* Scheduling pre-employment medicals, issuing contracts of employment, and setting up new employees on internal systems.
* Coordinating the onboarding schedule for new employees.
* Assisting managers and supervisors with selection processes and interviews as needed.
* Maintaining accurate HR filing systems in compliance with GDPR.
* Entering data related to HR into Payroll and HRMS systems, ensuring records are kept up-to-date, accurate, and in compliance with relevant legislation.
* Providing support and administration to managers and supervisors on all aspects of HR.
* Maintaining accurate records of statutory leaves.
* Benefits administration and liaising with external providers.
* Monitoring and recording training on-site.
* Ensuring legal compliance in all aspects of HR.
* Creating statutory and management reports and presentations on HR metrics.
* Participating in HR projects.
* Providing cover and support for the reception area.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Human Resources or a relevant field.
* Thorough knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
* Experience in processing payroll is an advantage.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and projects.
* Respect for confidentiality of information.
* Strong emotional intelligence.
