Job Title: Buyer
A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a skilled Buyer to join our client's team, based on a customer site in Co. Cork.

Key Responsibilities:
* Providing price quotations to customers and seeking the best value for money.
* Maintaining records of quotations provided and adhering to company procedures.
* Liaising with external suppliers, engineering companies, pharmaceutical firms, biomedical organizations, and third-party sub-contractors to establish proactive and successful relationships.
* Issuing, receiving, and managing customers' owned inventory while utilizing their ERP stock management systems.
* Utilizing the Company's ERP system for processing sales orders and controlling its owned inventory.
* Responsible for placing purchase orders for new and existing products.
* Running weekly checks, raising new requisition requests as needed, and maintaining accurate materials counts.
* Ensuring compliance with all company Health and Safety requirements within the Engineering Stores team.

Requirements:
* Previous experience in procurement and negotiation, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).
* Previous experience working with spare parts or MRO.
* Excellent communication skills and a hardworking, reliable attitude.
