The Rose Hotel is a 4-star award-winning hotel located in Tralee, Co Kerry. We are open all year round.
We are currently recruiting for experienced bar personnel to work in our bars within the hotel.
Main Duties:
* To ensure that Dotts Bar/Ros Bui and Banqueting bar areas are set up to the agreed standard.
* To maintain cleanliness and tidiness of Dotts Bar/Ros Bui and Banqueting bar areas at all times.
* To keep all Dotts Bar/Ros Bui and Banqueting equipment clean and tidy, stored appropriately.
* To complete adequate mise en place for each shift.
* To provide full service of food and drinks to all guests in Dotts Bar/Ros Bui and Banqueting areas.
* To verify accuracy of guest bills and include all served items.
* To maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the glass wash area.
* To ensure all fridges and food storage areas meet HACCP regulations.
* To complete cleaning records on a daily basis.
* To maintain store room cleanliness in the back of Dotts Bar.
* To ensure sufficient stock of cups/mugs/saucers/teaspoons/biscuits etc in the coffee dock.
* To clean tables and chairs prior to opening.
* To prevent build-up of delph and cutlery on the coffee dock counter.
* To attend training and adhere to established standards.
* To come to work in a clean uniform and follow grooming policy.
* To perform specific tasks requested by supervisors/managers or hotel management.
Ideal Candidate:
* Must have at least one year's experience working in a bar or hotel bar.
* Must have experience serving food in a bar/restaurant setting.
* Must be a team player.
* Required to be flexible with working hours, including morning/evening/day shifts and weekends/public holidays.
* Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
