The Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of pharmaceutical machinery, ensuring optimal machine performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities & CompetencesAssembly of mechanical componentsCommissioning of pharmaceutical or similar machineryPerformance/Yield supportPrevention of technical issues, breakdowns, and critical incidentsOn-site production support, including inspection, maintenance, calibration, changes, upgrades, and improvementsTroubleshooting and disaster recoveryFormat installationsCustomer trainingDocumentation & reportingProviding long-term onsite supportAnalyzing customer production needsExecuting simple machinery modificationsDetermining recommended maintenance schedules (spare parts replacement & calibration)Executing move-in, installation & commissioning in a cleanroom environmentEnsuring machines remain at validated status and involving additional support when necessaryFollowing processes and documentation guidelines for pharmaceutical complianceWorking in international teams on-site and remotelySpecificationsJob Experiences:Minimum 2 years experience with special machineryExperience with syringe & vials equipmentEducation & Other Requirements:Mechanical or electrical degree or diplomaTechnical apprenticeship/trainingAbility to work with and read technical drawings
