About The Role
Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Provide support to management teams across all locations with employee and industrial relations issues – including the resolution of Grievances & Disputes.
2. HRIS: manage and administer the HR, and Successfactors performance management system, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
3. Responsible for relevant HR reporting and CRH compliance & ethics reporting.
4. Attract and recruit talent in line with strategic priorities.
5. Updating HR policies and procedures in line with changing legislation.
6. Empower and develop key talent, including identification of potential career paths.
7. Manage Training and Development requirements within the business.
8. Management of development programmes, including the Frontline Leadership Programme.
9. Co-ordination of internal movements & secondments.
10. Succession Planning.
11. Promote Employee Engagement and Inclusion & Wellbeing initiatives.
12. Promote internal communication including via the employee app.
13. Manage Business in the Community activities.
Candidates Should Ideally Possess
1. A minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
2. A degree or similar qualification in Human Resources/Industrial Relations.
3. Operational IR and HR experience from a unionised working environment (preferable).
4. Excellent communication and relationship building skills as evidenced by previous work experience.
5. A pro-active, self-starter with proven employee engagement skills and business acumen.
6. A proven track record of driving change and adding value to the overall performance of a previous employer(s).
7. Experience with HR & Payroll systems, and the MS Office suite of applications.
